Mechanism of Action
Dual inhibitor of both cyclooxygenase (COX) and 5-lipoxygenase (5-LOX) pathways, providing broader anti-inflammatory coverage than COX-selective NSAIDs.
Side effects & warnings
Place directly on tongue — rapidly dissolves. GI ulceration risk. Not for cats. Monitor hepatic and renal function. Loading dose on day 1 then maintenance.
