Every dosage rule includes a source citation from published references including Carpenter's Exotic Animal Formulary, Plumb's Veterinary Drug Handbook, and peer-reviewed veterinary journals. Users should verify citations against the original source material.

Report an Error

If you identify an error in our dosage data, please report it immediately at submit a correction. Include the drug name, species, and the specific concern. Every dosage result includes a “Report Error” link for easy reporting.

The prescribing veterinarian bears full clinical responsibility for drug selection, dosage determination, and patient monitoring. ExoticRx is a reference tool that supplements, but does not replace, professional training and clinical judgment.
