Dopamine D2/D3 receptor agonist applied topically to the eye, absorbed via conjunctival vasculature to stimulate the CRTZ and induce emesis in dogs.
FDA-approved emetic for dogs. Apply to eye — do not give orally. Miosis and conjunctival hyperemia are normal. Vomiting occurs within 10-30 minutes. Single application only.
