Non-selective alpha and beta adrenergic agonist that reverses anaphylaxis via bronchodilation (beta-2), vasoconstriction (alpha-1), and positive inotropy/chronotropy (beta-1).
For anaphylaxis ONLY. Inject into lateral thigh muscle. May repeat in 5-15 minutes. Follow with IV fluids and antihistamines. Monitor cardiac rhythm.
