Mechanism of Action
Inhibits squalene epoxidase blocking ergosterol biosynthesis. Fungicidal against dermatophytes. Also has anti-inflammatory properties.
Side effects & warnings
Topical use only. Local irritation (burning, stinging). First allylamine antifungal developed. Active against dermatophytes.
