Mechanism of Action
Inhibits fumarate reductase in nematode mitochondria, disrupting energy metabolism. Also has anti-fungal properties.
Side effects & warnings
Generally well tolerated. GI upset possible. Not effective against all parasite species. Largely superseded by newer benzimidazoles.
