Ranide, Flukanide
Salicylanilide that uncouples oxidative phosphorylation in parasites. Effective against adult liver flukes, Haemonchus contortus, and nasal bot (Oestrus ovis) in sheep.
For cattle and sheep. Narrow safety margin in sheep — do not exceed recommended dose (overdose causes blindness). Long withdrawal period. Not available in US.
