5-HT3 serotonin receptor antagonist. Injectable form for acute nausea/vomiting in hospitalized patients unable to take oral medication.
IV route for acute vomiting/nausea. Often combined with maropitant for refractory vomiting. Constipation possible. QT prolongation at high doses.
