Mechanism of Action
Imidacloprid (neonicotinoid) disrupts nicotinic acetylcholine transmission in fleas; moxidectin targets glutamate-gated chloride channels in nematodes. Heartworm prevention plus flea control.
Side effects & warnings
Available for dogs and cats. Monthly topical. Do not allow ingestion. Keep treated animals separated until dry. Not for rabbits (ferrets have specific formulation).
