Mechanism of Action
Prodrug metabolized to fenbendazole and oxfendazole. Inhibits microtubule formation in nematodes by binding beta-tubulin.
Side effects & warnings
Often combined with pyrantel and praziquantel (Drontal Plus). Safe in dogs. Not recommended in cats. Teratogenic in some species.
