Motilium, Equidone
Peripheral dopamine D2 receptor antagonist. Enhances GI motility and increases lower esophageal sphincter pressure. Also increases prolactin release.
Does not cross blood-brain barrier (fewer CNS effects than metoclopramide). QT prolongation risk. Used in horses for fescue toxicosis to restore lactation.
