Chlor-Trimeton
Competitive H1 receptor antagonist. Blocks histamine-mediated allergic responses. Also has mild anticholinergic and sedative properties.
Most commonly used antihistamine in cats. Mild sedation. Ensure product does not contain decongestants. Limited efficacy for pruritus but safe and well-tolerated.
